 God made each and every person on this earth different. Every single one of us! There is something special about every person and no one is exactly the same.
Lots of things make us different from each other. There are boys and girls to start with. We come from different countries, some of us are taller and some of us are smaller. Even if we look the same on the outside, we are different on the inside. No one feels the same way you do about things.
We are all unique, special and different. But being different doesn't mean that one is better than the other. It just means we are different.
God loves that we are so different. God loves and values each of us just as we are. No matter what we look like, where we come from, what we believe, or what we are good at, God's love is unchanging. |

F r i e n d s
 We all want to have lots of friends. Friends are a great gift ... a gift from God! They are people with whom we can talk and have fun, someone with whom we can play games and laugh. Friends are also people who will help us when we are sad, lonely or confused.
If we want to have lots of friends we need to learn to be a good friend ourselves. Things that make us a good friend are:
Kindness – this means thinking about what others would like, what they might be feeling and being willing to do things to help them. It also means accepting that others are different to us.
Generosity – sharing what we have with others is important. Sharing our toys and our time are just some of the ways that we can share with others and be a good friend.

| Practice being a good friend today ... talk to someone who you would not normally talk to or share something with someone who is very different to you. It can seem hard but you may be surprised by how easy it is to make a new friend. What’s more ... when you do this, you are being a gift from God to that person. |
